Spirits of Life CAL: Part 5. C2C crochet again!

Welcome to Part 5 of Spirits of Life CAL! Since last Wednesday I have read lots of lovely comments about previous part. It was made in C2C (corner-to-corner) crochet and I know for many of you it was the first time to try this amazing and effective technique. Today we will continue to create colorful waves. The pattern is almost the same, but made in a mirror reflection.

I have a happy news for you. We are half through the CAL and since today all three crochet techniques will be repeated. But with different patterns, as I didn’t want you to be bored. Let’s take the second half of the CAL as examination in C2C, Mosaic and Overlay crochet. And I am sure, after your wrap is finished you will feel confident with your newly acquired crochet skills.

Part 5 (again) consists of two colorful C2C panels with dividers. I don’t want this blog post to be a long read, so please refer to Important Notes in Part 4, as they are the same for today’s part as well.
And here is a complete picture of how Part 5 should look in all three colorways.

I am often asked what is the length of crocheted fabric after each new part is added. It is very easy to calculate: put together figures for each part (you will find them in written patterns). After Part 5 you wrap’s measurements should be approx.: 56cm/22in (width) and 116cm/45.7in (length).
